I’d Like To Punch Someone

Conner ‘The Mad Mick’ Maguire, his daughter Barb, and their friend Doc Marty are called upon to ‘punch the tickets’ of a group of American officials believed to have been involved in the attacks on the USA. While no job is ever easy this one has Murphy’s Law written all over it. Emotions run high and tensions are stretched to their limits.

Horton’s fifth book in The Mad Mick Series, Punching Tickets is one of the best in the series thus far. The Mad Mick gets to do what he does best, and we are seeing Barb’s character being fleshed out even more. She is turning into an asset on her own.

This is a high-powered, heart-racing, and very emotional book. Power shifts in one direction only to be taken by another. It can be hard to tell who the good guys are anymore. My bet will always be on The Mad Mick.

Five out of five stars.
